Dutch comic book artist Romano Molenaar is mostly famous for his work on "Storm" togehter with colorist Jorg De Vos. When he took over Don Lawrence's famous sci-fi series in 2006 he actually quit his daytime job to focus on his new task. Born in The Hague in 1971, Molenaar has been hired by a number of US comic publishers since the mid 1990s. Liar Comics' miniseries "More than Mortal" and "Witchfinder" are among his first publications. At Chaos Comics he pencilled "Lady Death" and "The Tenth" and of course "Witchblade" fans should also kow his name. Only recently DC Comics recruited him for their series "Birds of Prey", "Detective Comics Annual 2012" and, hey: "Batman"! As a man of many talents, Molenaar is also a games designer. His latest games project is the long anticipated thriller "Cognition: An Erica Reed Thriller" for which he designed an up-to-date and atmospheric setting that suits a dark thriller-game just right.
